Whether they like it or not, men have to accept that women are climbing the corporate ladder confidently. What makes them so determined and successful? I decided to try and find the differences in behavior between the two sexes at work. Here is what I found:
Whether it is this difference in behavior that has enabled women to succeed in the masculine world, or determination and drive, women have undoubtedly proven they are worthy opponents.
Yet recently I came across an article in which women were questioning whether they really want to reach the top. Some women who are at the top are stepping down in favor of their families. For example Brenda Barnes, former President and CEO of Pepsi-Cola North America, decided to leave her £1 million a year job because she was tired of trading off her children against her career.
Women themselves seem to be re-defining their dream, questioning what success really means. Is it being good at a job they enjoy or is it the fight to the top or perhaps it is better to be paid less and be fulfilled rather than reach the top at some personal sacrifice?
Keep doing things the same way, even after being told it's wrong.
