We’ll answer some frequently asked questions that will shed further light on the matter.

Why are post-graduate studies becoming more and more popular among company workers?

Employees know that in a competitive working environment, your university degree is no longer the only proof needed of your skills and qualifications. It’s just the first step in acquiring new abilities. Most companies when hiring expect their staff to further develop and be open to training and self-development.

What kind of training can an employee take part in?

Companies can send their employees to different types of training depending on their interest and specialization. The most popular studies would be management and marketing, banking and finance, auditing, human resources and IT. The price of each course differs depending whether it is at a private or state university. EU funding covers from 60 to 80 percent of the tuition fee. For specialized training the compensation is slightly lower: from 45 to 35 percent of costs.

Who is the post-graduate offer addressed to?

The offer is intended for companies doing business in Poland, excluding such employers as coal-mines or companies which are insolvent.

Where can we find information about the post-graduate study programs?

The internet is an ideal source of information. When looking through the program offer of a University we need to read the fine print carefully and check the date for course enrolment. It could be that we have missed the date and have to wait a whole year.

How to ensure that we are not wasting company money when investing in an employee?

The safest thing to do is to sign a loyalty contract with your employee, in which they will be obliged to finish the studies and continue working for the employer for the next few years. This way the employer has a guarantee the worker will not leave the company.
