Defining the main company’s interests, adjusting its structure to the market situation, and awakening business aggression in its employees – these are the skills which are particularly helpful in managing companies during transformation.

Key Polish managers, such as Jan Krzysztof Bielecki, CEO of Pekao SA, Igor Chalupec, President of the Board at ICENTIS Corporate Solutions, Bertrand LeGuern, President of the Board at CANAL Plus Cyfrowy, Sebastian Mikosz, CEO of PLL LOT and Mateusz Morawiecki, CEO of Bank Zachodni WBK were considering the phenomenon of leadership in uncertain times during a panel discussion entitled 'Is the pilot flying with us?'

According to Mateusz Morawiecki, CEO of BZ WBK, employees and customers of a particular company do not react violenty to ownership changes in this company. „A much bigger threat to them is the prospect of losing their jobs or orders,” he added.

„When it comes to defining the company’s interests a manager in a company with a strategic owner will act differently from a manager in a company belonging to a fund whose operational time perspective is completely different,” stated Bertrand LeGuern.
